Yes, the HotDog 2-in-1 system is compatible with most major ESUs including Valleylab, ConMed, Bovie, and many others.
Is this FDA-cleared as a return electrode?
Yes, the system is fully FDA-cleared for both electrosurgical grounding and patient warming functions under FDA 510(k) clearance.
How is it cleaned between patients?
The mattress is easily cleaned using standard OR protocols in less than 30 seconds. Wipe down both sides of the mattress. Do not use hydrogen-peroxide based cleaners. There are no gels, adhesives, or disposable components.
Do we need staff training or setup?
If transitioning from Mega Soft, training is minimal. Our support team is always available to assist if needed.
Do we need to conduct a trial or evaluation before switching?
In most cases, an evaluation is not required. Many hospitals have transitioned directly with full clinical acceptance.
How quickly can we get units shipped?
The HotDog 2-in-1 system is in stock and ready to ship, avoiding the supply issues currently affecting Mega Soft pads. HotDog Mattresses, Blankets, and Controllers are made in the USA.
